Terms & Conditions

 

1. The Event

  • The Get Shizzle Done Day is an in-person group co-working event hosted by Hummingbird Mentoring, taking place on the date and at the venue confirmed at the time of booking.
  • The event runs during the hours confirmed at the time of booking. Doors open 15 minutes before the stated start time.
  • This is an independent event hosted by Hummingbird Mentoring. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or organised by any third-party platform or organisation, including Kajabi LLC.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Booking is confirmed upon receipt of full payment of the fee stated at the time of booking, which includes lunch.
  • Spaces are strictly limited. Your place is only guaranteed once payment has been received in full.
  • By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
  • This event takes place on a specific date. In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive exceptions for fixed-date events, by completing your booking you acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply, as the service is scheduled to be performed within that period. This does not affect your rights in relation to event cancellation by Hummingbird Mentoring, as outlined in Section 3.

3. Cancellations & Transfers

  • Hummingbird Mentoring does not offer refunds for this event under any circumstances, except where Hummingbird Mentoring cancels or postpones the event as outlined below.
  • If you are unable to attend, you may request a transfer of your booking to a future Get Shizzle Done Day, provided written notice is received at least 7 days before the event date.
  • Transfer requests made less than 7 days before the event cannot be accommodated, and your booking will be forfeited.
  • Transfers are subject to availability on future dates and are non-transferable to a third party.
  • In the unlikely event that Hummingbird Mentoring needs to cancel or postpone the event, all attendees will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a rescheduled date. Hummingbird Mentoring will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by attendees, including travel or accommodation expenses.

4. Nature of Support

  • The Get Shizzle Done Day is a group co-working environment, open to coaches, therapists, healers, educators and online practitioners at any stage of their online business journey.
  • Expert support from Jo-Anne Mac Millan is available throughout the day on a shared, as-needed basis. This is not a 1:1 session, and dedicated one-to-one attention cannot be guaranteed.
  • This event is not a substitute for a private 1:1 session or bespoke training. If you are looking for dedicated individual support, please visit hummingbirdmentoring.com for other options.
  • Hummingbird Mentoring makes no guarantee that any specific project, task, or goal will be completed during the event. Outcomes depend on individual preparation, content readiness, and working pace.

5. Attendee Responsibilities

  • Attendees are responsible for bringing their own laptop, charger, and any relevant login credentials for the platforms they are working on.
  • Attendees are encouraged to arrive with a clear idea of what they wish to work on during the day. A pre-event prompt will be sent to help with this.
  • Internet access will be available via mobile broadband, but Hummingbird Mentoring cannot guarantee connectivity and recommends attendees have a mobile data backup available.
  • Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner toward all other attendees and the host at all times.

6. Right of Admission

  • Hummingbird Mentoring reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the event, any attendee whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or incompatible with the group working environment, at the sole discretion of the host.
  • In such circumstances, no refund will be issued.
  • Hummingbird Mentoring also reserves the right to cancel or transfer an individual booking prior to the event date if, in the reasonable judgement of the host, an attendee's needs or expectations cannot be appropriately met within the group format. In this instance, a full refund will be offered.

7. Liability

  • Hummingbird Mentoring accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained during the event, except where required by law.
  • Attendees are responsible for the security of their own equipment and personal belongings.
  • Hummingbird Mentoring accepts no liability for any costs incurred by attendees in connection with attending the event, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or subsistence costs, in the event of cancellation, postponement, or curtailment of the event for any reason.

8. Data & Privacy

  • Your personal data — including name, email address, and payment information — is collected for the purposes of processing your booking and communicating event-related information.
  • Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent and will be handled in accordance with GDPR and Hummingbird Mentoring's Privacy Policy, available at hummingbirdmentoring.com.
  • By booking, you agree to receive event-related communications from Hummingbird Mentoring. You may unsubscribe at any time.

9. General

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
  • Hummingbird Mentoring reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies to your reservation.
  • These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.
