Bringing Edel Walsh’s Smart Study Strategies Course Online
Mar 11, 2026
Over the past few weeks I had the pleasure of working with Edel Walsh to bring her online course for busy professionals onto the Kajabi platform, creating a clear and supportive digital learning space.
Edel supports trainee accountants, tax advisers and finance professionals who are preparing for demanding professional exams while balancing full-time careers and busy personal lives.
Her course, Smart Study Strategies for Busy Professionals, offers a practical and evidence-based approach to studying smarter, by helping professionals develop sustainable study systems rather than relying on marathon revision sessions.
Together, we created a new online home for her programme using Kajabi.
But like many projects I work on, this wasn’t just about building a website.
It was about translating Edel’s expertise into a digital space that would genuinely support the people she works with.
Bringing Smart Study Strategies Online
One of the most important parts of any project is taking time to understand the heart of the client’s work.
In Edel’s case, her work is rooted in a simple but powerful idea.
Many professionals struggling with exams aren’t lacking ability.
They’re lacking systems that work with the reality of their lives.
They’re juggling:
• demanding jobs
• family commitments
• professional expectations
• and the pressure to perform academically
So the platform needed to feel clear, calm, and practical, without being overwhelming or unnecessarily complex.
Designing an Online Space That Serves the User
When people land on a website after a long day of work, the experience matters.
We wanted visitors to understand quickly:
• who the programme is for
• what problem it solves
• how it works
• and how they can take the next step
The goal was to create a space that reflects Edel’s approach: structured, thoughtful and supportive.
The Kajabi platform allowed us to bring together:
• the course content
• clear programme information
• and an accessible learning experience for students
The Value of Collaboration
One of the things I enjoy most about this work is the collaborative process.
Edel brought deep expertise in professional education and exam coaching.
My role was to help translate that expertise into a digital structure that would serve her clients well.
From refining messaging to shaping the user journey, the process was about making sure the final platform reflected both the depth of her work and the needs of the professionals she supports.
A Word from Edel
Edel kindly shared these words about our collaboration:
“Working with Jo-Anne on my new website and course launch has been such a positive experience from start to finish.
From our very first conversation, she took the time to understand not just what I do, but why I do it.
Jo-Anne brought clarity and structure to the process. She has a calm, steady way of working that makes what can feel overwhelming become manageable and even enjoyable.
Her attention to detail, combined with her ability to see the bigger picture, meant the final result is genuinely reflective of my brand.”
Why Kajabi Works Well for Online Courses
One of the reasons I often use Kajabi as a platform for online courses is that it allows everything to live in one place.
For educators, coaches and professionals who want to bring their work online, that simplicity matters. Instead of juggling multiple tools, Kajabi allows the course content, website, student experience and communication tools to sit within one clear system.
In Edel’s case, this meant her Smart Study Strategies for Busy Professionals programme could be delivered through a structured and supportive learning environment where students can access modules, revisit material and move through the course at their own pace.
For busy professionals studying alongside demanding careers, that kind of clarity and accessibility makes a real difference.

Final Reflection
Helping professionals bring their work online is always a privilege.
Many of the people I work with have spent years developing their expertise, supporting clients and building meaningful practices.
Creating an online course platform for that work is never simply about technology. It’s about creating a clear and welcoming digital space where their work can reach the people who need it most.
