Does Your Kajabi Site Need to Be Perfect Before You Launch? (No, and Here's Why)

I want to tell you about a website that sat in draft mode for eleven months.
It was beautiful, to be fair. The colours were exactly right. The copy had been written and rewritten. The client had spent hours on the photo selection. But every time I asked if she was ready to publish, there was always one more thing. One more tweak. One more section that wasn't quite right.
Here's how we got it live: I asked her to show me the one thing that was still wrong. She couldn't point to it. Because by that point, it wasn't about the website at all.
Does Your Kajabi Site Need to Be Perfect Before You Launch?
No. And here's why.
Perfectionism in online business often disguises itself as quality control. And sometimes it is. But very often, especially for therapists and coaches who care deeply about how they show up, it's actually fear wearing a very convincing costume.
Your Kajabi site will never be finished
This isn't a failure of commitment; it's just the nature of a living business. Every working Kajabi site I've ever seen is in a permanent state of gentle evolution. Waiting for 'done' is waiting for something that doesn't exist.
Almost no one will notice the thing you're worried about
The misaligned button on mobile. The second paragraph of your About page you're not sure about. The image that's slightly the wrong colour. Visitors will see you, your offering, and whether it resonates. They won't be taking a fine-toothed comb to your layout.
Going live gives you real data
You can redesign and rewrite based on what actual visitors do and what actual clients say. You cannot do that in draft mode.
What Does a Minimum Viable Kajabi Site Look Like?
A page that explains who you are and what you offer, a way for people to contact you or buy, and something to capture their email address. That's it. That's enough to go live.
