How to Audit Your Kajabi Site in 30 Minutes: A September Reset Checklist

September has always felt more like a new year to me than January. Something about the crispness in the air, the return of proper routine, and the very Irish instinct to make a cup of tea and get organised. If you're feeling that same 'fresh start' energy this month, let's put it to good use.

This issue is a short, practical audit you can do on your Kajabi site in about thirty minutes. No rabbit holes, no overwhelm. Just a clear-eyed look at how things are sitting.

How to Do a Kajabi Site Audit in 30 Minutes

Pour the tea. Here are the five checks that matter.

1. Check your website pages

Click through each page on your site as if you're a first-time visitor. Does everything load? Are the links working? Is your pricing still current? Does your 'work with me' page still reflect what you're actually offering?

2. Test your contact opt-in

Go to your landing page or wherever people sign up to your email list. Fill in the form yourself using a test email address. Does the confirmation arrive promptly? Does the welcome email land as expected?

3. Review your active automations

Go to Automations in your Kajabi dashboard. Look at what's active. Are any of them outdated? Do any reference programmes or offers you no longer run?

4. Check your offers and pricing

Look at each active offer. Is the price correct? Is the right product attached? Is there anything you've been meaning to update or retire?

5. Review your recent email broadcasts

Scroll back through the last three months of emails. Is there anything you referenced that's no longer relevant? A deadline that passed, a programme that's now closed?

That's it. Five checks, thirty minutes, and you'll start September knowing your Kajabi site is in good shape. Or, if it's not, you'll know exactly what needs fixing.

Kajabi Communities vs Email: Which Should You Use for Your Group Programme?
Every few months I get a version of the same question, and this one landed in my inbox from a reader last week (shared here with her permission, details slightly changed): 'I'm setting up my first group programme on Kajabi and I can't decide whether to run it inside a Community or just use email. I've been going back and forth for weeks. Please help.' Oh, the going-back-and-forth. A ritual a...
Kajabi Overwhelm: Which Features You Actually Need (and Which You Can Ignore)
This one goes out to everyone who opened their Kajabi dashboard this week, looked at the left-hand menu, counted the options, and quietly closed the laptop. I see you. I have been you. And I have something important to say. You Do Not Have to Use All of Kajabi I mean that sincerely, and I say it as someone who knows every corner of this platform. Kajabi can do an enormous amount. Websites, c...
The Best Kajabi Automation to Set Up First (and How to Do It)
I once watched a therapist manually send a welcome email to every new client who signed up to her online programme. One by one. Copy, paste, personalise a tiny bit, send. She was doing this at 10pm on a Tuesday, after a full day of client sessions. When I showed her what Kajabi's automation could do instead, she went a bit quiet for a moment and then said, 'I've been doing that for eight mon...
