Kajabi AI Tools Explained: What They Actually Do (and What You Can Ignore for Now)

A client emailed me in a mild panic. She'd spotted something about Kajabi's AI features in a Facebook group and was convinced she'd need to learn a whole new set of tools before she could even think about launching. 'Is my whole site going to change?' she asked.
Not quite. But there's a lot more happening on the AI front than there was even a year ago, and some of it is genuinely brilliant. Let me give you the honest tour.
Kajabi's AI Tools: What's Actually There in 2026
Kajabi has been moving fast on AI, and the dashboard looks quite different to what it did even twelve months ago. Here's what's worth knowing about.
Cofounder: the one that might actually surprise you
This is the one I get most excited about, and the one I've found most useful in my own work with clients.
Cofounder is Kajabi's built-in AI business assistant, and it's much more than a content generator. It works a bit like an interview: it asks you questions about your expertise, your audience, and what you want to offer, and then helps you build from there. We're talking product ideas, pricing suggestions, landing page copy, even the structure of a whole programme.
I've used it with several clients who were stuck in that paralysed place of 'I know what I want to do, I just don't know how to package it.' Cofounder has been genuinely useful for cutting through that fog. It won't replace your expertise or your judgment, but as a thinking partner for the business-building side of things, it's impressive.
It's currently included in all Kajabi plans, which makes it worth exploring sooner rather than later.
Creator Studio: the transcription and subtitles tool
If you're creating video content on Kajabi, the transcription and subtitles feature in Creator Studio is worth knowing about. Upload a video and Kajabi can generate an automatic transcript and add captions, which is a meaningful step forward for accessibility and for anyone who watches video with the sound off (which, these days, is a lot of people).
I have to be straight with you here, though: this feature used to be included in all plans, and Kajabi moved it to a paid add-on in their 2025 pricing restructure. It currently costs an additional $90 per month on top of your plan fee. I don't love that, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. If you're producing a lot of video content and accessibility matters to you (which it should), it may well be worth it. But you deserve to know the real cost before you fall in love with it.
AI Agents: watch this space
This is the one I'm most excited about for the future, even though I haven't fully implemented it yet.
Kajabi's AI Agents are designed to interact with your members or students inside your platform, answering questions, guiding people through content, and providing support between your live touchpoints. For anyone running a course or programme, that's significant.
Where I think it's going to be genuinely transformative is in certificate programmes and structured training. If you're training practitioners, running a diploma, or delivering a course with a clear learning pathway, an AI Agent that can answer 'what do I do next?' or 'can you explain that concept again?' without you needing to be available every hour of the day... that changes things. I'm currently exploring how to implement this well for a couple of clients, and I'll report back properly when I have real experience to share.
