Kajabi Overwhelm: Which Features You Actually Need (and Which You Can Ignore)

This one goes out to everyone who opened their Kajabi dashboard this week, looked at the left-hand menu, counted the options, and quietly closed the laptop.
I see you. I have been you. And I have something important to say.
You Do Not Have to Use All of Kajabi
I mean that sincerely, and I say it as someone who knows every corner of this platform. Kajabi can do an enormous amount. Websites, courses, communities, podcasts, email marketing, landing pages, memberships, coaching programmes, digital products, newsletters, automated pipelines... it is, genuinely, a lot.
But here's the thing: it was built to grow with you. Not to overwhelm you on day one.
Which Kajabi Features Can You Ignore for Now?
I want to give you actual permission to ignore the bits you don't need yet. Here's a short list of features most therapists and coaches can safely leave alone until they're ready:
Communities: brilliant feature, but only if your clients want a community space. Many don't. Don't build it until you know there's a need for it.
Podcasts: Kajabi has a podcast hosting feature. Unless you're actively recording a podcast, you can pretend this doesn't exist.
Pipelines: these are visual automation builders and they're powerful, but they're also where most people get lost. Email sequences inside your product or offer settings are usually enough to start.
Advanced analytics: the dashboard gives you a lot of data. You don't need to understand all of it. Focus on 'how many people bought' and 'how many people logged in' and leave the rest for later.
Which Kajabi Features Actually Matter Right Now?
Your product, your offer, your landing page, and one welcome automation. Everything else is bonus material.
