What Do I Actually Need to Set Up on Kajabi First? (The Only 3 Things That Matter)

Right, so. You've signed up for Kajabi. Possibly at some ungodly hour when you were feeling brave and optimistic, and now it's the next morning, and you're staring at the dashboard, wondering what on earth you were thinking. Sound familiar?
Welcome to the club. It's a big club. I've been in it myself, and I've sat with many a client in exactly that moment. The good news: most of what feels overwhelming right now genuinely doesn't matter yet. Which brings me to this issue.
The Only 3 Things You Actually Need When Starting on Kajabi
Here's the thing nobody tells you when you start on Kajabi: you don't have to build everything at once. In fact, trying to do everything at once is the fastest route to doing nothing at all.
After years of helping therapists, coaches and educators get started on the platform, I've noticed there are really only three things that matter in the beginning. Everything else, and I mean everything, can wait.
1. Your product (what you're actually selling)
This doesn't need to be perfect. It needs to exist. One course, one coaching package, one membership. Pick one, build it simply, and leave the rest for later.
2. A way for people to pay you
Kajabi's Offers feature handles this. Link your product to an offer, set a price, done. You don't need a fully designed checkout page on day one.
3. A way for people to find you
A simple landing page with your name, what you do, and a button to buy or enquire. That's it. Not a ten-page website with a blog and a podcast and a shop. One page.
Honestly, you could have those three things working within a week if you focus. The rest, the beautiful website, the automated email sequences, the membership tiers, all of that comes later.
